Pine Hollow VHS was created to preserve physical media in a world that quickly moves on without it. As streaming replaces ownership, movies are removed, altered, or lost entirely. Physical media keeps films permanent, available without algorithms, subscriptions, or expiration dates.
Many of the tapes we carry are rescued from being discarded and saved from landfills where they would have disappeared forever. By collecting, curating, and rehoming these tapes, we are able to keep them from being lost in landfills and back where they belong, on shelves, in homes, and on weekly movie night rotations.
